
FIREARMS INSTRUCTOR DEVELOPMENT
The One With The Gun® – Firearms Instructor Development course is built for professionals who are ready to lead from the front. This two-day program is designed to transform competent firearms instructors into confident, purpose-driven instructors who don’t just teach skills—they build warriors. It’s not about running a line and barking commands; it’s about influencing how officers think, shoot, and survive.
In this course, participants will be immersed in instructional methodology, adult learning theory, coaching techniques, and diagnostic shooting tools. We take a no-nonsense approach to instructor development—blending technical precision with real-world application to ensure that every graduate can deliver high-impact, mission-relevant training to their agency or academy. We’re here to develop you as an instructor, but you’re going to leave a better shooter as well.

Eligibility & Requirements:
*Students MUST be sworn police officers.
*Students MUST be certified firearms instructors.
*Bring 900 rds of ammunition for the weapon they will shoot.
*MUST have an appropriate holster for their weapon/optic/light combo.
*MUST have an optic installed on their primary firearms with backup iron sights that can be co-witnessed through the optic - NO EXCEPTIONS.
*MUST bring their duty belts.
*MUST bring their vests.
*Eye and ear protection.
*20 "dummy" training rounds.
*3 training magazines.
*MUST have an optic mounted on their handguns PRIOR to arriving in class.
*Have their optic zeroed prior to arriving in class.
*Should bring a knee pad.
